An Experienced Professional
James Hyland worked in the US Senate and House of Representatives on Capitol Hill for 19 years. By working in the personal offices of three U.S. Senators and Committees in both the U.S. House and Senate, he has acquired an impressive range of experience to help advocate for your cause effectively. James gained federal appropriations expertise by serving as Legislative Director to two senators, including Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson of Texas. In addition, he successfully led the effort to create the unique Breast Cancer Stamp and authored the first Senate bills to eliminate marriage tax penalties and to criminalize church burning.
Financial Services Expertise
James worked on the staffs of the House Financial Services and Senate Banking Committees from 1986 to 1998. He helped pass three major banking bills with present-day financial impact, and he continues to work closely these Committees today. James not only worked on the House Financial Services Committee as Assistant Staff Director Senior Counsel for six years, but he also served as Staff Director of the Financial Institutions Subcommittee on the Senate Banking Committee for four years.

Prior to staring his own Firm, over a seven year period, James acted as Counsel and Partner for two of the largest law firms in the U.S assisting the following types of clients:

- A Non-Profit Entity (on Behalf of Inner City Children for College Funding)
His high-profile successes also include a federal auto mandate for every passenger in the US to be equipped with anti-rollover technology and banning excessive payday lending to members of the US military.
